Cameron Rupp was DFA'd so Drew Hutchison can be put on the 40 Man roster and go north with the Phillies. Rupp was due $2 million after going through arbitration.



He would be good depth. He has shown power in the majors with not much average. He might consider Pittsburgh if he is offered due to an injury proned starter and young back up.

We certainly need more depth at catcher! Good thought on Rupp. Didn't know that Rupp was DFA. Hutchinson is going north with Phillies?. Better them than us! I was not impressed with him during his time as a Pirate....Beat'em Bucs
