Snow is better than rain.



It snowed in 1996 and last year for the Pirates Home Opener.

Ian Happ hit a HR with the very first pitch of the season. Isn't that against "baseball rules" to swing at the first pitch on Opening Day? Especially, the first pitch of the entire season?



The worst thing that ever happened was the Cubs winning the World Series.

I think you are right. Happ just doomed the 2018 season for the Cubbies.

And what about the upside of this rain out thing? After the first day the Pirates are still at .500. From here it looks like that glass is half full.
