Shows how bad umpiring can effect things. In first inning, Bryant takes a 3-2 pitch for an obvious strike 3 and Happ is easily gunned down by Cervelli stealing SB. But ump misses the call so it's ball 4 and the runner gets 2B on the walk. Should have been 2 outs and no one on base. Williams got out of the inning but it required a lot more pitches than would have been necessary if the DP had been called.

this might be a good day to start Frazier.

I hope Williams says something to the Umpire when he is removed from the game.

Polanco, Frazier, Polanco, Cervelli just in this game.

I haven't been able to watch but have enjoyed the highlights. Polanco hits a hr to left center off a lefty, that is nice to see. Cervelli is loving Chicago. We need him to hit. Williams continues to amaze me. The pen must hold this game.

The Pirates ability so far these first two weeks to hit big game changing homeruns has been simply phenomenal. It’s a big big reason why they are where they are so far. Let’s finish this series off and go win 2 of 3 or sweep the Marlins which is definitely doable.
