And I'm personally not looking forward to it.

If I were there, I would cheer Cutch long and loudly when he steps to the plate in the top of the 1st and I would truly enjoy that moment.

But I'm not going to be there to experience that ... so I'm basically just going to be focused on the Pirates trying to win games.

And I don't have a good feeling about it.

So what about Cutch predictions?

I've got Cutch with 2 HR and 6 RBI for the weekend. One HR to right and one to right-center. And one of his homers will be in a clutch, late-inning situation that basically decides the game.

Other thoughts on how Cutch will do?

On top of that, I fully expect Alen Hanson to go something like 6-12 with a HR this weekend. Would that surprise anyone?

Hope I'm wrong and we get a Pirates sweep instead ... but I'm not expecting it.

Of course it is supposed to rain now. All weekend. I heard close to sell outs for Friday and Saturday. I was hoping for nice weather and a packed house, I always like going to those games.

McCutchen will get his well deserved ovation(s) and moment(s). I am sure you will see some orange 22s in the stands. No, I am not worried about Alen Hanson.

No doubt that Alen Hanson kills the Pirates this weekend.

A deserved standing O for Cutch. He tries too hard and strikes out twice but squeezes one hit between short and third for 1-4. Hansen gets 2 hits but makes a crucial error and the Pirates win 5-3.

McCutchen is still batting third. He has one of the lowest averages and OPS on the team. When is Future Hall of Famer Manager, Bruce Bochy, going to wake up?

Why is Bell still batting 4th?

You know, before the season started, I was hoping Cutch would go something like 10-15, 3 HRs, and 12 RBI this weekend. Even though I thought it was the right baseball move to trade him, I’d still like to stick it to this ownership group. And, I was hoping for a Giants sweep. Now, however, we’re nearly a fourth of the way through the season, and our Bucs are still somehow in contention, and not due to the rest of the division playing poorly. This team has been surprisingly good. So, now, I still want Cutch to go off, but I want the Bucs to take two of three.

I don’t want Cutch to get 1 hit this weekend. I hope he goes 0 for 15 with 10 k’s and the Pirates sweep the series.

I honestly couldn't give a **** what McCutchen does this weekend. He'll get an ovation before his first at bat, which he deserves, then it's simply Pirates vs Giants.

I assume there will be a long video tribute between innings too. Especially, with the new right field wall video screen.

Other than that, it is play ball. The Pirates need to win this series and take over first place.
