Incredible ovation for Cutch in the first well deserved and nothing like I’ve ever seen before. Aside from that Cutch is 0 for 3 with 2 strikeouts. Marte homered to make it 2-0 in the first. Taillon has to come out with a cut on his finger but he appears to be fine. Brault came in and gave up 2 runs and the Bucs answered back in the 4th with 3 runs highlighted by a pinch hit 2 run homer by Jose Osuna. Looking more and more like the Bucs need to find a way to keep him up on the roster. But right now it’s 5-2 Bucs and things are looking good.

It's looking more and more like Hurdle needs to find ABs for Osuna. Not sure Hurdle's up to the task though. The bullpen has rounded into shape nicely in the past few weeks. Oddly, Brault is the only pitcher today to struggle and he's in line for the win.

Nice double by Cutch. If he had to go, I'm glad it was to SF. I've always admired that franchise ever since the days of Mays, McCovey, Cepeda, Marichal and the Alou brothers.

Uh-oh, if Bell gets that swing in gear to utilize his strength instead of killing worms, look out! 26 HRs last year as a rookie showed what he can do. Only 3 HRs this year so far but the last 2 were hit hard enough to take someone's head off.

Jordy always gives a good interview. He seems very intelligent. It wouldn’t shock me to see him get into either broadcasting or coaching/managing after he’s done playing.

Big night. Cutch brings out the crowd and the Bucs bring out the wood. We all want something, I want more Moroff. For a small guy he has some easy power.

If ever there was a game to prove how utterly useless the “win” stat is, this is it. Taillon goes theee, doesn’t give up a run, leaves with the lead, gets a no decision. Brault throws one inning, gives up two runs and the lead, gets the win.

Another win which is what matters most. Gotta take advantage of this very winnable schedule the next two weeks or so. If the Pirates do they should be around 10 games over .500 and in 1st place come the end of May.
