I’m listening on the radio - error on Nova. Brownie and Bob upset. Said Scooter should be out. Bases loaded 1 out.

Now it’s a grand slam.

4-0. Bad guys.

Our top two pitchers have each given up a GS in their last game.

Nova gives up a grand slam to Suarez to make it 4-0. Another bad start for Nova. Very frustrating as the Pirates really needed to win this game a lot and right now that’s not looking good at all.

So in the 3rd:

Nova walked the pitcher.

Makes an error on throw to 1st loading bases.

Gives up a grand slam.

Don’t see innings like that very often.

Is that two games in a row for Nova with an error? Got to hope offense can come through against Reds pitching.

Right now are alleged 1 and 2 starters are looking more like No. 4 and 5 starters ... and that's not a good thing.

Unfortunately I don't trust our bats enough to grand slams.

Our starting pitching is not very good and our offense is an enigma.

Nova's fielding has been so bad and it comes back to hurt him. His errors are helping his earned run average, though.

Our pitching is a collection of #4 starters. "Interesting guys," yes, and you can use a few of those but not five.
