Not so green on the other side of the fence

Aside from Ozuna, the Cards big free agent acquisition this year was reliever Greg Holland. He pitched last night and is off to a slow start. He has an ERA of 9.45 (1.05 runs per inning), which is better than the 1.1 walks allowed per inning, which is better than the 1.5 hits allowed per inning ---- all of which are better than the $14,000,000 the Cardinals play Holland per year.

Today the Cards placed Holland on the DL, with a fresh hip impingement--- likely caused by the excessive dead weight and huge wallet.

Spending big money on bullpen pieces seems like a waste of time. It's incredibly risky. When we do it (Hudson) it doesnt work either.

Imo. Our GM is the best in baseball at assembling a bullpen from scraps.
