1. Adam Frazier (L) 2B

2. Austin Meadows (L) LF

3. Starling Marte (R) CF

4. Josh Bell (S) 1B

5. Francisco Cervelli (R) C

6. David Freese (R) 3B

7. Gregory Polanco (L) RF

8. Sean Rodriguez (R) SS

9. Nick Kingham (R) P

Polanco in, Dickerson out. At least Polanco has hit Wacha well (.292). Freese has also hit Wacha well (.467). And Hurdle again finds a way to get S-Rod's hot bat in the lineup. Maybe if he gets enough ABs, S-Rod could get up to his career BA of .228. That would be worth any amount of games where a better hitter has to sit. ::)

I absolutely hate this lineup especially with the off day tomorrow. You are struggling here big time and need to win this game to salvage a split and you give JHay, Dickerson, Mercer and Moran the day off. It’s rudiculous.

Nice error by Sean Rod that should have been a double play and then  Ozuna comes up next pitch and hits a grand slam. This is why Sean Rod should not be starting this much, and when he does start he better make the routine plays and catch the ball. Now they are down 4-0 and this game is pretty much over now. Sean Rod needs DFA in my opinion I’ve seen enough if him and tired of Hurdle shoving him down our throats.

Why is SRod on the team, oh because Hurdle likes him, helps him bury this team into oblivion.

The Bucs have made Ozuna relevant. He is 14 for 32 (.438) with 2HR vs the Bucs and 42 for 173 (.243) and 3 HR against everyone else. He is at .273 overall.

Nothing like getting no hit to cap off another terrible week of baseball for the Pirates. A loss today would be 12 losses in their last 16 games. This stretch has pretty much at this point destroyed any real talk of this team being a serious contender.

Another side note about Sean Rod he has now struck out in 35 of his 94 plate appearances this season. This is why you don’t sit guys like JHay and Dickerson today not only do you lose you get embarrassed and get no hit.
