2018 Draft

Anyone interested in the 2018 Draft?
I fear the Pirates will select a high school pitcher. It seems to be a heavy draft for high school pitchers this year. I prefer a bat.
Anyone have an opinion on Luke Heimlich? I assume someone will take him, but where? He has first round talent but some baggage. I don't know what to believe about his situation either. I hope the Pirates pass on him.

I too prefer a college bat, one closer to making it to the majors. There are quite a few of them. Something tells me the Bucs will go pitcher and a high school arm. I can't stand drafting high school arms. I prefer a good college arm that is closer to making it. To be honest, we need both a college bat and a college arm.
If not for the baggage, Heimlich would be a top 5guy in this draft. Someone will take a flier on him and maybe earlier than you expect.

I am interested, but MLB prospects are very different, no one really knows anything about these guys for years.

There are a few college 1B (Beer - Clemson, Baker - TCU) power bats in the draft. I don't know if they can play any other positions. Baker has a broken arm, so he could fall. Another hitter getting praised is Casas 1B/3B, a high school kid.
The Pirates can't miss on a top 10 pick.

Cant remember his name but would like the highly rated catcher to fall to the team at number 10.

They had someone on XM Radio today saying there is a rumor he will go late first round between 20-30.
