Following Tampa Bay's recent strategy. Let's get some runs off of him before he is pulled.

They've now used three pitchers in the first three innings.

Taillon back to being not very good.

The outcome of this game is going to annoy me to no end. Taillon and hitters cannot take advantage of a Dodgers bullpen-only game

If they are going to continue pretending that Polanco and Bell should bat at the top of the order, they are going to continue looking like a **** offense.



I think both of these guys are going to play major roles on this team going forward, but they can not be put into these offense focal points right now. They should be on time shares and in 7 and 8 holes in the lineup.

The Pirates have two hits. That certainly won't help Taillon.

Giving up 4 XBH in 4+IP won't help either.  This is on him. It should probably be about 6-1.

He's going to be lucky to get through the fifth inning.

And Polanco coming up in another clutch spot. Good thing he's still being penciled in to the #2 hole some games.
