Cervelli C

Moran 3rd

Dickerson LF

Bell 1st

Looks like it’s Marte’s turn to sit. At least Rodriguez is not in the lineup today. Let’s finish this sweep off.

So Hurdle starts 3 LH hitting OFers vs a LHP while sitting Marte (.282), the only RH hitter and their best defensive OFer. All this so that Polanco (.200) can have a turn. Polanco is 3 for his last 28 (.107). >:(

Great start by Musgrove. He set up Votto with a 2- strike pitch at eye-level, followed by a pitch at his shins to make him move his feet, then he strikes him out with a fastball down the middle.

Happy Father's Day!

Without the wild pitch, Musgrove likely ends the inning with a double play. Instead, the Reds get two, and lead 2-1.

Polanco with two nice hits today, including his first tater since Mother's Day. The Bucs have hit DeSclafani hard today but only have the two runs to show for it. Maybe there will be more to come.

Cervelli has taken about 4 foul tips today. Ouch!

Gregory Having his best day in forever, comes to bat in the 8th with 2 on and 2 out. Down two.

And Polanco doubles bringing in one run, Bell is thrown out at home trying to score from 1st.

I have absolutely no idea what is allowed under the Possey Rule. Home plate was completely blocked.

6-5.

Don’t have a problem sending Bell there with two outs. Make the Reds make a perfect throw to the plate there. By the rule there it looks like Bell could have been safe. That rule is terrible and needs changed period.

Well moot point anyway as the Reds get two runs back and make it 8-5. Tired of this bullpen continually giving up runs everytime they pitch. Does Hamilton hit anybody else other then the Pirates he is an absolute pain in the ass.

Forget it: Santana gives up a 2 run HR.

8-5.
