Horrible base running. Bell hits a drive to RF that Batista makes a good running catch in which his momentum carries him to the wall deep down the RF line. Osuna does not tag up and remains on Second base. Could have walked to third.

But Osuna has to be thinking that's a double if not caught and he needs to score from 2B on a double. He has to go half way. Otherwise he only gets to 3B on a ball in the corner. If he's tagging and it's not caught, it's only a single and no one scores. If he goes half way, he doesn't get to 3B if it's caught but he's still in good position at 2B with 2 outs. I think Osuna made the right decision. Give Bautista credit for a good catch.

With 2 more errors tonight, Diaz is now 2nd on the team.

Even the Mets' announcers were saying what a great, clean, legal slide by Harrison to break up the DP. They saw no reason for Familia to yell at Harrison. Even Cabrera, the 2nd baseman who was prevented from competing the DP, gave Harrison a hug. Much ado about nothing (as Shakespeare would say).

Well, somebody has to win when the Muts and Princesses play.

Another game that the Pirates should have won that turns into a loss. Everybody got excited associated with the team about the win last night which now means nothing. This is what this team is gonna do the rest of the season. Win one and then lose 2 or 3 in a row and stay right about 5-10 games under .500. And for Hurdle he will be fine with that and could care less.
