I think that power is what the Pirates see with Polanco, and hope they can tap into it.



Love that Dickerson! Great play on the out at second and also on the earlier one to cutting off the ball to hold the runner at second.

What would this team look like if both Marte and Polanco played to their potential at the same time? Things would be very different.

I am thinking his days as a catcher may be numbered. He is too prone to concussions now and takes way too long to recover from them.

Through 4, Nova looks really good. He is taking advantage of the big strike zone by throwing up and down, in and out, and really mixing his pitches.

Cervelli should never catch again. The more concussions you get, the more likely you are to have them in the future. Right now, he can't get through half a season without one. It's not going to get better.
