Freese should be playing.  He's not slowing down and will get plenty of rest when Bell comes off the DL.

Glad Frazier is in there. Good to see we didn't sit him at least

Ah come on dmetz.  You  know that Frazier is really hot and that Moran plays to keep Clint's dream of having a lefty-righty matchup at the plate. And Osuna plays so he can maintain his lousy hitting. He might get better if he sits and the red hot Freese is at 1B. After all who are you a peon of a Pirate fan to question the smartest ML manager alive or should that be dead?   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Once again Williams really battled and won in the first inning. But at 24 pitches that was an expensive 1-2-3 inning.

Williams is throwing darts now. Looking pretty locked-in with his pitches.

Carpenter homers again and has just destroyed Pirates pitching this entire series. Gotta get the bats going today. Offense so far is non existent against Flaherty.

Hurdle great theory/management gives away a game yesterday so we could win tomorrow, I hate this manager just doesn't appreciate every win or chance to win. You can't ever get on a winning streak until you win one, and our manager always playing for tomorrow, don't worry about today. Why anyone would keep this relic from yesterday is just mind blowing.

Alright, I say something good about Williams and he gets touched a little bit.  Let's try it the other way.  I am pretty impressed with Flaherty.  This guy has a big toolbox of pitches.   And the only time he was in trouble today he pulls out the knuckle curve and strikes out Dickerson.  He could be a problem for the next several years.

You got Freese who is red hot and JHay on the bench in what might be your best situation of the day to score and you put Luplow up. Completely and totally inexcusable bonehead moronic move by Hurdle.

I've seen enough of Luplow please let him be the player to be named later for Archer.
