I saw the Prediction thread started (awesome), but wanted to break it down for easy viewing.

To clarify I think that Dog is looking for us to answer a very simple question, "Will the team be better in 2018 than 2017" No need to post any W-L or run totals. Just vote and if you feel like it tell us why you voted the way you did. - Possum

I think the team is definitely better.

But the division is going to be insane. Better team. But better record?

Good idea Dog.  Have it up here where all can see it and vote.  Also I want to comeback at the end of the season and or when the win their 75th game or lose there 89th and perhaps gloat or cry a bit at the result.  See excuses why the Bucs didn't do what we voted.  I voted yes because I am a glass half full kinda guy despite the Bucs being run by the TBMTIB ;D

I don't think the Cubs or Cardinals will be as good as years past. I do think the Brewers and Reds will be better than last year. It might just even itself put.

This is going to confuse some people so I'm going to change the title of the poll so that we don't get W-L predictions in the wrong thread.

I am surprised that the team lost their best player and their best pitcher yet most people think they will be better than last year.

You only think they made a three game difference? You predicted 71 wins in the other thread.

Was Marte and Kang that big of a loss last year? I thought so but so many disagreed with me. This is surprising to me. Good to see the excitement, but still very surprising overall.

Neither of them has that good last year. In fact, I would argue their (terrible) performance was one of the primary reasons why they've fallen so much in the last two years.
