For the first 60 games, the Pirates were 30-30. For the second thirty games, we will be either 32-28 or 31-29. a slight improvement depending upon tonight's game. Despite these numbers, the Bucs have been running hot and cold all season. After tonight, there are 42 games left. With a baseline of 61 or 62 wins, the Pirates need to go at least 26-16, to finish with 87 or 88 wins and a chance at the wild card. Certainly possible, but not probable. Need Marte and Polanco to get hot right about now!

Yeah, I don't remember a team that swings this violently between good and bad.
