Let the firings begin. 
In 2015 and 2016 Banister's Rangers won their division but lost their first playoff series each year. These past 2 years they have not been competitive. For some reason he didn't get a 4 year extension. Can't figure that one out.  ;)

Really surprised to read that one of his recent faults was with communication with his players. For as many years he managed and coached in the Pirates organization ,and now in his fourth year as an MLB manager you would think that he would have developed those skills along time ago.

Well, maybe he was struggling with how to communicate as the manager as opposed to a coach. I am sure there are differences in how to communicate and possibly he was a good communicator as a coach but not so much in the different role of manager.
