I would vote for Taillon. None of the positions players had great years. I think Dickerson was the best but with 13 HRs, 55 RBIs and solid defense he seems like a very nice complimentary player rather than a standout MVP unless it's only by default. Taillon and Williams anchored a surprising staff. Each won 14 (35% of the 81 wins). But the team was 20-12 when Taillon started and 16-15 when Williams started. Vazquez has to be considered but I don't place as much emphasis on the closer role. He was good but not the total shut down guy we expected. 36 saves is nice but a lot of guys will get saves if you give them a chance. Some of his saves were because he had a bad inning but gave up 1 less run than the lead he inherited. Tough to find a clear cut winner but I'd vote for Taillon.

HM: Cervelli, Dickerson

I think I would go with Cervelli. He handled the young pitchers well and certainly hit better than I expected. Dickerson, I think, as runner-up. It's a little hard as no one had a truly great year on the offensive side. Williams and Taillon stood out for pitching, but I treat them differently as they only appear once every five days.
