Apparently has had an interview for the Reds mangers opening. Seems he is one of many being looked at.

I would not be upset if the Reds hired him as their next manager. I would then make Cora bench coach and rehire Perry Hill as a base coach.

I cannot remember that he was a hate magnet. I remember he left for more money than what the Bucs offered. I believe while he was here our infield defense was very good.

Is Perry Hill the coach they wouldn't release so he sat out a year rather than take what NH was offering? Put toothpicks around the infield to show fielders where to stand for certain shifts? I recall him being good but would suspect he's still not enamored of the Pirates. I was thinking someone different when I first read the post.

I remember stories of him being less than pleasant, personality wise. i mean true that doesnt mean anything to you or me.
