I'm not following that closely, but every time I do see something he seems to be getting on base two or three times.
Also, the team is the Suprise Saguaros. I keep on seeing headlines such as "Pirates hits lead to Surprise 10-2 win," and my first thought is how much of a surprise could it have been if it was 10-2? Heh.
