If you have any confidence in John Perrotto he posted on twitter that the Pirates may have interest in Oliver Perez and have spoken to the Diamondbacks about s/s Nick Ahmed..

Rob Biertempfel also reported Pirates' interest in Ahmed.

Perez would make sense as a lefty bullpen arm. I think it would take alot to acquire Ahmed, which the Bucs don’t have unless they are willing to trade Keller, Hayes or Tucker which I think they will not do.

Ahmed was only 1.2 war last year. Hurt by low obp.Shouldn't take much to get him.

JMO, it will take more than people think. I can't stand the batting average and the OBP. I like the HR and RBI count, but is that sustainable? Give them Kingham and Feliz.

he reminds me of Clint Barnes. I don't consider that a great memory.

Correction. 1.7 war. Also a gold glove with 21 defensive runs saved, which tied Andrelton Simmons.
