Well, it wasn't unexpected. For quite some time it seemed like it was going to be historic. 100% of the vote. Then someone realized they voted for Cruz and Tucker in the first round and voted for them in the 2nd. Congratulations to #2 prospect Ke'Brian Hayes. 92.3% of the vote.

The results, so far:

#1- Mitch Keller, 23 year-old RHSP, 2018- Altoona/Indy, shoud make MLB debut this year. 68.2% of the vote

#2- Ke'Bryan Hayes, 21 year-old 2x minor league gold glove 3B, Altoona in 2018, Probably Indy in 2019.

Sorry, managed to screw this up and save in the middle of my post. This should be very interesting, There are at least 3 players who I would think about voting for. I plan on adding one or more players on the next poll, I don't want to fall below 10 options, and can add more than one if I get suggestions. If not, I'll pick my own. John Bormann, you're up.

I voted for Cole Tucker as I think his slow start/injury to his career unfairly blemished his reputation with fans.

(not last time, this time)

I picked him too.

I think O'Neil Cruz could turn out to be best player in system but he has higher risk of flaming out too. This will be big year for him.

Add me to the Cole Tucker train.

I was really impressed by the consistency of his AFL play.

I am for Cruz. I don't believe he is a future short stop but his power potential is something we haven't seen in a long time. He doesn't have contact issues, he just has some ridiculously high ground ball rates. If he can clean up his swing, there is room for exponential growth, which far surpasses Tucker's ceiling. And Tucker still has much needed adjustments to make to quit being a ground ball hitter.
