Noticed that Grandal signed with Brewers last night. Dodgers will have to acquire someone to field the position with Austin Barnes while their rookies develop....Will they pursue Francisco Cervelli now? Should be interesting to see what Neal Huntington does now with the opportunity. Sure wish they had gotten Alex Wood...

I continue to like the past suggestion of Cervelli for Hill with the Bucs tossing in some money to give the Dodgers more salary relief. A LH starter would be a great pick-up for the Bucs.

Also need some other team to acquire Realmuto to heighten the Dodgers potential interest in Cervelli.

MaineBucs, I really think the hometown Atlanta Braves are going to land Realamuto.Just my gut feeling. If so, I would do the Rich Hill deal. The club had interest in Hill in the past. Saw on Rumbunter where Bucs have been looking at Triple AAA OF Alex Verdugo. We should be seeing things come about over the next few weeks. Hope Bucs use their heads and get some talent for Francisco.

Nope.

The Toronto Blue Jays are trading catcher Russell Martin to the Los Angeles Dodgers, according to multiple reports. Ken Rosenthal reports the Blue Jays will cover a signficant portion of Martin's salary and receive two minor-league players back in the deal.

The MLB channel was speculating last night that Realmuto would go to the Phils. I guess it doesn't matter now, if the Martin rumor is right.
