Yeah I can't blame getting hit by a pitch as meaning it's more of him being "injury prone" or whatever. It sucks though (esp for him) as he'll be coming back right about when Polanco will be.

Lyles starts off on the DL with a phantom injury. They want him to build up his pitch count before adding him to the rotation.

Has anyone seen Polanco throw this spring. I know they changed his throwing motion coming out of rehab, but The Fan morning show made it sound like it's not going that well.

I'm going to give NH credit where I think credit is due. Third string RFer is Melky Cabrera. That is who is starting. That's a pretty solid 3rd string guy.

Yes! maybe he learned from that one season where we started the season with two outfielders.

Aaron Slegers placed on waivers to put Shuck on the roster.

I have to admit I'm fascinated with his size at 6'10". And while I assume he'll make it through as he has yet to show much and didn't do anything special during ST, I hope he makes it through too.
