What is it with these guys from South Korea getting in big trouble?

Looks like no visa for him. Sometimes I think there is a dark cloud over the Pirate Organization.

Either unlucky or did not do the due diligence in checking his background in S. Korea!

So far only The Athletic is reporting this situation reagarding Bae. I am surprised Pirate Prospects has not prepared an article and put it up on their site. Maybe the Bucs are trying to keep this situation out of the media as much as they can.

That is surprising that no other media outlet in the Burgh or related to the Bucs have picked it up. Or maybe they think there is nothing really to it because all he got was a fine and a slap on the wrist! I do hope that the Bucs are looking into this incident long and hard. Do we want players like that in our system despite the talent?

do we really know what he did? I bet there are players in the organization and people employed by Bucs in other capacities that have done things as bad or worse. The key for Bae is for him being remorseful and to have learned not to behave poorly in future.

According to Sports Chosun, a South Korean media outlet, the woman filed a police report this week alleging that Bae slapped, choked and kicked her on New Year's Eve in 2017. Police in Daegu requested that Bae return to South Korea to be questioned.


It is weird that even now, Biertempfel is the only one running the story.
