Good to see Tucker and Reynolds starting today. Would rather have Melky in there in RF and Frazier at 2nd.

If Tucker is the real deal; I hope they keep him up instead of going for the extra year of arbitration. Gonzalez may follow in the foot steps of Wally Pipp

I agree. Gonzalez seems to be nothing more than a placeholder for Tucker with Tucker expected to do well enough at AAA this year to merit the Pirates' SS job in 2020. But Tucker might already be their best option at SS. (Not on the basis of 1 game but because of how he has done in AA last year and AAA this year as well as Gonzalez being adequate at best.) Maybe Tucker will struggle until Gonzalez or Newman returns. But if he does well, they should give him the job.
