It’s the Melky show. 2 HRs and 3 RBIs in two ABs.

I’m here at Dodger Stadium to break the streak. I ran into Trever Williams dad and wished him good luck.

Pirates up 5-1, Melky crushing it. We better on on to the lead today!!

Two homeruns by Cabrera in both the 1st and 2nd inning have given the Bucs a 5-1 lead early over the Dodgers. The Pirates have to win this game today up 5-1 now early trying to snap a 7 game losing streak. Gotta get this one today and get back to .500 and hopefully continue to play well in Texas on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Just woke up from an afternoon nap. Don't ask why I was napping that is not important. First thing was to check on the game. To my surprise, the Melky show is on. Told Mrs. Possum the score and she said: "Don't hold your breath it is early in the game!" So after nearly 47 yrs of almost wedded bliss, I decided to take her advice for about the 5th time and quit holding my breath.

So we finally get some runs, have a comfortable lead, and Williams gives it all back.

The Polanco outfield circus continues.

You see Mrs. Possum knows something about this Buccos team! Ugh!

I hope I’m wrong but I just have no faith that the Pirates are actuslly going to win this game after blowing a 5-1 lead. These are Games the Pirates have to find a way to win when they are on a 7 game losing streak. I’m hoping if we do get the lead in this game that Vazquez is used for more then one inning. The Pirates desperately need to win this game.

Wow. Bell has no clue how to throw a baseball. Unbelievable for a professional.
