Oakland is the same organization as Pittsburgh is relative to resources. But yet, we aren't even close to being on their level. Yet, our FO continues to talk about winning a title. LOL.

Their GM is the cognitive equivalent to the guy dominating Jeopardy right now. Those people aren't in abundance in the world.

Terrible start to the game. Williams got 2 easy outs to start the 1st and then gave up 5 straight hits. A's took advantage of a weak Polanco throw and then Polanco misplayed what should have been a one hop single to RF into a triple. He is a huge liability in RF. But Bell's 2nd HR tied it 3-3.

Been watching tv with the wife and crocheting but did see the 1st inning. I am really concerned about Polanco and his candy arm. My 8 yr old granddaughter can throw a ball further than him. And his misplaying that fly in the 1st was so bad. The guy needs to go down on the DL and spend some time in extended ST to build up his arm strength and get his mind back in the game. I do think some of his fielding problems stem from being afraid of messing up his arm with a diving catch etc.
