Rumor has the Bucs still chasing Archer. What would you give up for him?

Meadows, Baz and a throw in. Or equivalent. Strikeout guy. FIP solid. Consistent. Toughest division, toughest league. Not an ace. #2 in NL rotation, I believe. Cost controlled for years. Yeah, I'd do it.
Our OF is very strong. Baz is light years away. Throw in lottery ticket.

Archer certainly makes the team better, but the past three years of performance and the salary going forward don't make me believe there's tremendous surplus value. I could get on board with one premium prospect. I'd actually choose Keller, though. Archer locks us down pretty well in the rotation for the next few years. If things don't go well next year for whatever reason, you can trade Dickerson and not leave a huge hole if you keep Meadows. I'm okay letting go of Baz. I think he's as likely to be Stetson Allie as a future major leaguer. So, not much different from me but I think Keller and Baz.

Meadows, Glasnow, and yet to be named 3rd player.

LOL. I meant to finish it by saying can't really yet tell if it's more or less than Meadows, Baz and throw in. Depends on the #3 and how one perceives the value of Glasnow and Baz.

Apparently KeBryan Hayes has been told it's not him. So that's good.
I was looking forward to seeing Meadows FT next year but I suppose we need a pitcher more than an outfielder.

Answer: Apparently quite a bit, depending on the third player.

I hope they name the PTBN very soon. I would not mind if it was a Baz.
