Not sure about this year, but doesn’t Lester normally have reverse splits?

Answering my own question, he has a career .700 OPS vs rhb’s and a .674 against lhb’s. So, not quite, but pretty even.

Lyles gives up a 3 run homer to Contreras after 2 walks and is down 4-0 already. Don’t like the way this series is going so far. You didn’t wanna come out this weekend after playing so well before the break and have this happen.

Well this one's over. IMO they just needed to get 1 of 3 in Wrigley, meaning a lot of pressure on tomorrow's game.

Yesterday is the game they should have won. To get 6+ scoreless out of Archer was a bonus. If the offense could have put a few runs on the board, it could have led to a routine win.

Yesterday was a blown opportunity.

Now we are starting directly at a sweep.

Big, big game on Sunday.

Yea didn’t need this to happen today after the tough loss yesterday. Very frustrating to watch.

looks like Lyles is done as an effective starter.  He can't stay in rotation after these last two starts against the Cubbies can he? his last effective start was on May 17.

Lyles has really been awful in his latest starts. Maybe it is time to move him to the bullpen, and recall Keller. The way Lyles has been pitching, it is probably not a good idea to put him in the bullpen.

did Joe Maddon's temper tantrum work? Or did the Bucs just get beat by team playing better?
