I plan to tune in tonight mostly to see how Archer pitches.

Want to see the Pirates beat the Cardinals and what is left of their starting line-up, but don't have much confidence after watching them play since the break.

And, with respect to Kela, exactly how can you be on the IL for 60+ days, and when you are finally pronounced healthy and able to come back and help your teammates (clearly they need BP help) and earn your substantial pay you do something that results in a 2 day suspension. I have not liked the Kela trade since the day it was announced.

The Neverman and Holmes are not major league caliber pitchers, but they take the ball and go out and perform. My guess is that Kela will soon find another reason not to pitch.

If the Cardinals score 2 runs tonight, I predict the Pirates score 1.

If the Cards score 15 runs, I predict the Pirates score 14.

Either way ... Just enough to lose.

As usual, Archer immediately gives up a run after the Pirates score. Happens too often to be coincidence. Must be something in his thought process when he gets run support.

And just like that, the 3-run lead Archer was handed is gone. I guess it would help if he didn't lead the NL in HRs allowed.  :(

Maybe they should bring up Neverauskas and let him start instead of Archer.

Another great game from Archer. 6 IP, 4 ER, 2 HRs. Now we can wait for his post game remarks about what great stuff he had.
