The season has collapsed.

Osuna and Stallings are both used as pitchers to provide 3 innings of relief.

An injured pitcher is recalled only to be suspended.

Alex McCrae is again in the majors to ensure that he can get his proper beating.

The team is about to get swept in a 4 game series at home against a team that is without many of its regulars.

The team has won only two games since the break.

Sadly, it is again time to sell rather than to compete for the Division.

At present, the best thing that could happen to this team is 3 days of rain-outs in NY. The only starter who has given the team 3 good starts in a row is an unheralded rookie who the team released not too long ago.

I am starting to feel that we are on the verge of another 20 consecutive years of losing.

And Joe Block's endless chattering goes on and on and on.

Glad to see Hurdle using Vazquez today in the 9th inning down 3 runs but on Monday when this series opened and the game was tied in the 10th inning when things weren’t a total mess yet he was unavailable and hasn’t pitched at all since the game on Sunday because Hurdle was worried about resting Vazquez in this series. Can we please get rid of this manager and coaching staff it’s just become so infuriating to watch Hurdle do this crap so often that I can’t take it anymore.

I guess Huntington’s streak of being in a position to add at the deadline 9 years in a row I think it is is about to come to an end. I know this means as much to Huntington as winning a pennant and World Series does since he says it so many times.

The Bucs losing would be bearable if it were not for Block's constant irrelevant chattering on and on. I would even be happy to hear Lanny Frattare chatter on and on about US Presidents between pitches.

Hurdle is clueless managing Vasquez work load. He'll bring him in to a low leverage (on save) game when he hasn't pitched in a couple days. Nightmare often has trouble getting focused in thesis situations and will throw a 20 pitch inning. Then the next day , he might call on him to get 5 outs and he throws say 27-28 pitches. Now you get the "he was unavailable " comment from Clint. Really stupid management . The above is mostly correct as he has had limited save opportunities this year and with a good manager , he would very seldom be "unavailable " in a save or win situation.

It’s one of the many reasons why he has to go along with several others. It’s just time for a change it’s not working anymore with Hurdle in charge. Can the Bucs get somebody better then Clint?? I don’t know that’s Bob Nutting’s job to figure out not the fans. But it’s definitely time enough is enough.
