I know that he gave up a bomb to Marte, but trying to figure out why the Bucs didn't try to buy low on Gray from the Yanks. It didn't cost the Reds much. Instead they gave a premium for a controllable Archer who's value was plummeting. What they gave up was worth Archer four years ago.

The embarrassment continues tonight down 6-1 as McRae can’t even get out of the 2nd inning. I can’t remember this bad of stretch by the Pirates since the John Russell Lloyd McClendon years. It’s not like the season is over next week either there are still 2 full months left in this season and this is just a complete and total disgrace.

10 run 2nd inning. How long does this continue without at least something being done to a coach or somebody in the front office. I mean this is just a complete disgrace what is going on here.

This is bad. They may end up being the worst team in baseball by the end of the season. They may need to replace Hurdle before the end of the season just to bring some life back into this team.

During the 1983-84 NHL season, when the Penguins were trying *cough* not *cough* to tank to get the #1 draft pick and win the Mario Lemieux Sweepstakes, the GM called up Vincent Tremblay to start four games in goal. He gave up 24 goals in four games. I don't know why I just thought of his name...
