Another audition for Keller.

OMG! What putrid uniforms!

Well, the Pirates made it through 1 entire inning before they were trailing.

Except for his uniform, Keller is looking good. Good fastball and breaking pitches with some sharp bite.

Great start by Keller and Feliz with a very unexpected sensational 7th to bail Keller out.

The Pirates and Reds aren't the only ones in clown suits. Every game in MLB tonight features the same uniforms. And since it's hard to distinguish the white numbers on the white shirts, it's even worse that the players have silly nicknames on their shirts instead of their names so that fans have no idea who is who on the vising teams. Way to make the game a farce, MLB! >:(

Why didn't Hurdle have Kela walk the red hot Aquino with 2 outs and 1B open and then pitch to the .231 hitter on deck?

These uniforms make me pine for the days MLB thought these were a good idea to leave the brainstorming session and become an actual thing:







Although really, if they're just going to score one run a game, they should just wear soccer uniforms.

And this means the last 2 wins have both featured Vazquez being used to keep a close game close until the Pirates could score to win instead of sitting in the BP watching other relievers let the game get out of hand merely because there was no save stat to be had. Nice to see Hurdle trying to win instead of just trying to get saves for Vazquez.

It's heartening to see Keller pitch well. They will absolutely need him to be at least decent next year if they don't want to be worse than the '62 Mets.
