What kind of lineup is this??

1. Kevin Newman (R) SS

2. Adam Frazier (L) 2B

3. Melky Cabrera (S) RF

4. Jose Osuna (R) 1B

5. Elias Diaz (R) C

6. Colin Moran (L) 3B

7. Erik Gonzalez (R) CF

8. Kevin Kramer (L) LF

9. Mitch Keller (R) P

Mitch might need 12 K's in 5 innings to have balls avoid this defense

Appears they may want to tank the season so they can approve on their position in June 2020 draft.

The smattering of fans (doesn't seem accurate to call it an actual crowd) seemed to be cheering wildly for Seattle when Feliz did his usual ineffective job and served up 2 HRs.

The Bucs can tank without trying to do it.

At least the Pirates have more hits (4) than the Mariners have HRs (3).

Highlight of the game: a 3-6-3 Pirate DP in the 1st inning. Osuna made a nice stop, made a perfect throw to 2B which enabled a timely relay back to Osuna. I don't recall seeing any such DPs this year with Bell at 1B.

announced attendance at 10,933. Higher than I expected as there couldn't have been much of a walk up crowd tonight.

Must've been a lot of no-shows. No way there were 10,000 in that empty park.

Don't they count season ticket sales into that attendance figure?

Yes, paid attendance is the number of tickets sold whether the buyer shows up or not. I went to a couple Oriole games in Baltimore last month. Attendance looked like about 3,000 and maybe 5,000. It was announced as about 11,000 and 13,000. For PR reasons, MLB wants to use the higher figure to promote the idea that as many fans as possible are interested in the product and attending games. But the paid attendance figure is always higher than the actual number of fans at the game. And when a team has a significant attendance problem, the discrepancy is larger because of all the no shows and people not purchasing tickets from brokers who already bought them from the team.
