Ted Simmons and Marvin Miller are elected to Hall.

He did pretty well:



Ted Simmons 13

Marvin Miller 12



Dwight Evans 8

Dave Parker 7

Steve Garvey 6

Lou Whitaker 6



Three or less: Tommy John, Don Mattingly, Thurman Munson, Dale Murphy.



In 2018, Miller and Simmons were the top also-rans. Garvey, John, Mattingly, Murphy, Parker, Tiant were "less than seven." So the two top also-rans went in this time, and Parker's the second also-ran this time.

I'm one of the people that thinks that if there's a debate over whether someone belongs in the Hall then they shouldn't be. 



In fact there are too many already.  There should be like 100 guys. Only All Timers should be in there, the greatest of the generation types.



Of course that doesn't sell tickets so I totally get it.
