Pirates Injury Update
From what Tom Tomczyk says it looks like Polanco could need constant help over the season and the rest of his career. Not looking really good for the Bucs on that front.

According to the article it sounds like Burdi is no sure thing either.
Tomczyk said. “We are cautiously optimistic that Nick will be ready to go for spring training.”

I guess the fact Tom is still here means that there won't be a shakeup in sports medicine. It seems weird that the team's medical director gives regular press conferences.
Do we know if the plan is to give Polanco a shot in left field? It sure doesn't sound like he has the arm he used to. It's too bad. I remember him making some Dave Parker level throws early on.
