Brennan Malone, Mitch Keller, Quinn Priester and Tahnaj Thomas. If there are no major injuries this could be a strong group to build a starting rotation in 2023. This is a long ways off, but if this group develops as hoped, 2023 could be an exciting season.

Being of advanced age and in lousy health, I hope I can make it to 2023 and enjoy the possibilities of that season. But then I have lived through and thoroughly enjoyed 3 WS titles during my lifetime

My desire for the Pirates in 2023 is to be able to start the climb to another WS title for those of the generations after me to enjoy. I know that some of the other older guys here have experienced what I have and wish the same for the younger generations. Right now I am optimistic that BC and his management team can get things accomplished despite a miserly owner that lilmits what he can spend.

How much nicer would this have been with Baz tucked in there.

I still remember in the late '90s we were told to wait for 2001 when a crapload of young talent would reach its full potential. I forget who, even--Aramis Ramirez, Chad Hermansen, Ron Wright.

They lost 100 games in 2001.

Wasn't Kris Benson here too? That dude was supposed to lead us to the promise land.

I blame Anna Benson.
