The two prospects going back to the Pittsburgh Pirates in the Starling Marte trade are young and have high ceilings, sources tell ESPN, but that can be said about a lot of Arizona's farm system, which may be the deepest and best in baseball behind San Diego and Tampa Bay's.

if those are true it's Diamondbacks' #5 and #10 prospects accdg to this rotoworld prospect list i randomly googled up

No problem with Malone, have major problem getting the SS prospect. Didn't really fill a need.

I don't know that you acquire 18 year olds to fill a need though
