Catcher Andrew Susac. His .115 BA last year fits in nicely with the other signings. By contrast, OFer Charlie Tilson's .229 with the White Sox in 2019 is Ruthian.

As the days before ST approach it appears the Bucs are playing a waiting game with possible free agents. We know they are looking at centerfield candidates, but which one will accept a lesser contract just to make sure they have a job, and are going to spring training. Catchers Lucroy and Martin are still available, and who knows if the Pirates have had discussions with them, but maybe the players are hoping for a better offer from another team. Now it is a game of who will flinch first.
