Per MLBTRs

Burdi to 45-day DL & J.T. Riddle added from the 10-day DL

This is all they need, another hole at closer until Kela returns and another utility guy to evaluate.

Wow. Doesn't look like Burdi will ever have an MLB career. Seems like his body just can't take the strain of pitching.

Terrible news

Burdi has lights out stuff.

Looks absolutely unhittable

Someone needs to examine his mechanics

He has to be depressed to have this happen time after time

Per the Trib:

Tomczyk said Burdi’s most recent injury is tied to his previous neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome diagnosis and subsequent surgery.

“There’s still some remnants of those symptoms, which is common for athletes who undergo TOS surgery,” he said. “Nerves, as we all know, can take a long time to heal and recover.”

Sounds to me like he may never recover from that issue.

Geez... I don't know if it sounds quite that ominous. He no doubt has a horrible history of injuries which might make your statement true. But the above IMO is a bit encouraging .
