1. Erik Gonzalez (R) SS

2. Adam Frazier (L) 2B

3. Josh Bell (S) 1B

4. Colin Moran (L) DH

5. Bryan Reynolds (S) LF

6. Gregory Polanco (L) RF

7. Cole Tucker (S) CF

8. JT Riddle (L) 3B

9. Jacob Stallings (R) C

Derek Holland (L) SP

Here we go again! What is Shelty doing? Polanco again depresses me. When will he learn that he needs to play Bell at DH and Moran at 1B? Why is Newman not playing? I guess he needs a rest? Ugh!

Riddle is a dime-a-dozen utility infielder. But this will be his 5th start in August. Do they really need to keep looking at him? Meanwhile, Osuna rarely plays and could sure use the ABs. He looked awful the other night. But that's what happens when they bury you on the bench and only occasionally dust you off. Bell has no business ever playing in the field and yet there is Moran as the DH. And it appears there is no limit to how badly Polanco can play before they give up on him. If this is all about evaluating the players, they could hire a team of monkeys to do it and they'd do a better job.

Are they trying to lose or is it just incompetence? The fans still paying attention won't watch this much longer because it's impossible to see the club's motives, and many won't be back when life returns to normal.

With our payroll, everybody's a dime a dozen.

Ah, the old "run from 3B on contact." Works every time. >:(

I really didn't think that "Goey" Cora would be one of the holdovers when they changed managers.

Shelton is working hard to improve the faulty fundamentals the team has displayed for years. It's rumored they may even soon try having someone cover 2B on pickoff throws. (But we don't want to rush things.)

Shelton's the last guy on earth who should be teaching baseball players "the fundamentals." Somebody should be teaching him what they are.

Nice to see signs of life from Polanco today.
