No worries, Possum. Polanco's there to save the day. On the other hand, he's screwed this team for the past five years by being woefully inconsistent and unproductive, he'll now probably go on a tear and single-handedly carry the team to six straight wins that will not only cost the Pirates the first pick, but also fool BC into thinking he should be kept around for next year.

How about some love for Brault!

He may have turned the corner to become the staff ace

That would be nice. Of course last year he had a stretch of several good games followed by several bad ones. This season is too short to see if he can sustain this level of pitching. But we can hope.

For the 3rd time in the last 4 games McShelton has removed a starter working on a shutout after 6 or 7 innings. It has cost him every time. Either this dufus manager lacks the mental capacity to learn from his mistakes or he's trying to lose for better draft position, or both.

Shelton has a knack of making every wrong move after the other he has to go.

Sadly, I have to agree. He is not the right guy for the job. He may have been the only applicant. Either that, or the only one to pass the drug test. I'm beginning to wonder about that!
