If I remember correctly from the Marte suspension, Santana will not be eligible for the playoffs this year, and since the final 20 games of the suspension extend into 2021 he again will not be eligible for post season games.

If I remember correctly from the Marte suspension, Santana will not be eligible for the playoffs this year, and since the final 20 games of the suspension extend into 2021 he again will not be eligible for post season games.
Somehow, I don't think this is going to matter.

Santana is a guy who threw away his chance, even if it is only for 80 games.
Here's a guy who MLB allowed to be"thrown away". Maybe there is more to the story than this, but shows how quickly you can be discarded.
