Jason Mackey is reporting that they have tweaked Larry Broadway's position, and now the Bucs may be looking for a new Farm Director.

Always wanted to live work on the road.

I actually believe Ben Cherington is going to reshape the FO this offseason, and bring in some excellent evaluators. There have been several comments regarding what has Ben done since he was hired last November ? I think there will be changes on and off the field this offseason.

Admittedly, an unsolicited suggestion- think long & hard about that.  It's not the easiest way to pay for your popcorn.  ;

Yesterday Jason Mackey reported that John Baker of the Cubs was the front runner for the Director of a Player Development. This afternoon several executives from the Mets organization left their positions. One of the executives was Jared Banner the previous Mets Director of Player Development. Banner was previously employed by Boston, so he and Ben Cherington probably have some history of working together. I wonder if Banner could be the next Director of Player Development.

Allard Baird was with the Red Sox at the same time as well. Not sure if they have a connection.

Banner however seems like he would be a lock for the Pirates to hire. Worked with Cherington, and went to the same college as Cherington. He also would be a good hire.

Larry Broadway is clearly not the worthless guy Dejan keeps trying to portray him as.
