Pitchers and Catchers report today.  We may suck, but I am still looking forward to seeing Hayes, Keller, Reynolds, Newman, Alford, and the minor league guys in camp like Oliva and Cruz.  Go 2021!  Baseball is back!

We used to have a poster named Glassers who went to Bradenton every year. Changed name to Lecom after the ballpark. WI believe he was on this board when I first came on but haven't seen any posts. Anyway, he always gave us a first hand report which we enjoyed. It's on my bucket list but I better hurry up. Gonna be 74 in August :(

Going to miss Glasser's reports. Best part of them was the early part before they started playing games. Even MLB network has lousy coverage prior to the games, it's all fluff. I hope every team had a Glassers in their fold.

It's a shame these young players in ST have no veterans who have achieved success to impart knowledge and leadership. Tyler Anderson has a career 22-27 record and 4.65 ERA and can't be expected to be much help to the young guys. I saw an article yesterday that said the Pirates are asking Keller to take on a leadership role. He's 25 years old with 2 career wins in 16 games. How much are others going to look up to him? Obviously, the priority for the 2021 team is to see the young players develop toward their potential. But I don't think that throwing them to the wolves is the best way to go about that.

quote from Mitch Keller "It's time to really start something.I think we're really excited about who we have to take us forward".

He failed to mention who we have!
