It is only his first appearance, but Sean Poppen had a rough inning. The Pirates will need some roster space when they get close to Opening Day for players like Frazier and Goodwin, and another appearance like today for Poppen would probably bump him off the roster.

Todd Frazier started a 3-6-3 DP. And made it look routine. Seems like about 5 years since we've seen one of those.

Nice to see they found a home plate. They played the first couple innings without one, just using the cutout in the dirt where the plate should have been.

Geez, BOB won't even spend money on a home plate for LeCom Park and ST. Next thing you know he will be using garbage can lids for bases and an old rotting 2 x 4 for the pitching rubber. But that's BOB, do anything to save a $.
