He's not hurt as far as I know but three people on a motorcycle were killed. Apparently he was driving the car that hit them.

Somebody tweeted that alcohol was not involved but haven't seen that confirmed elsewhere.

What a shame. At times I feel there is a dark cloud over the entire Pirates organization.

Looks like Cruz is now going to be charged with driving under the influence. He'll never play in the majors. Unbelievable.

This is way worse than Kang. He never killed anybody. Even if Cruz evades prison (which he shouldn't and probably won't) he'll never play in the majors (or anywhere in the MLB system). You can't rehabilitate the image of someone who is essentially a triple murderer, just like you can't rehabilitate the image of a child molester. Cruz's career is done, forever.

So, this Cruz kid pushes Kang down a rung.

Vasquez has some competition, depending on outcomes.

I remember a couple years ago on MLBNR....one of the hosts said the Bucs infielders led the league in DUIs.  Nice tradition to be known for.

Throw in Coonelly, and it's enough to raise questins.
