Bucs have placed Cederland on 60 day DL with a strained UCL of right elbow.

So sad for the young man just as he was making a real push to make the opening day roster. Let's hope he's back strong in 2022 and maybe our closer by 2023.

I was watching that game and can't help but think a missed 3rd strike could have led to the injury. He throw an 0-2 change that split the plate and didn't get the call. That would have ended the inning but instead led to a bunch more pitches. Probably was going go happen regardless ....

I think you are right Steve. That injury was just waiting to happen
