Pirates don't have a full season of promotions listed yet. However, the first two will be:



For all three games against the Cubs in the opening series, a magnetic schedule which is always cool, and a Pirates facemask.



The Saturday and Sunday games against the Cardinals feature a Wonder Woman bobblehead!!!!!! I have to figure out how to get one for my collection, I'll be incapacitated for those games.



My reason for making this post is just to piss off the people who whine about promotions.

How about a "Parade Night?" Fans will be treated to a post game parade if the Pirates get win #60.



Or if they want to aim higher, they could have a Champagne Night if they avoid losing 90. Lloyd McClendon had champagne for his players after a game in late September 2002 when they were guaranteed of not losing 90. They only played 161 and lost 89. The day after clinching 89 or less losses, McClendon could throw out the first pitch (or a base if he prefers) and each fan gets a glass of bubbly.

The fireworks and concerts comments people have made in the last few years are the ones that crack me up the most. When they last had fans in tow, they had all of 6 fireworks nights set. They have decreased each year, and probably the fewest in all of MLB for outdoor venues.



They haven't had postgame concerts in 5 years, those are the promotions I really miss.



I love fireworks nights, but one thing I learned, don't do the "watch from the field" promotion. Better to just be in a seat. Best place is actually go out the right field gate and head towards center, sit on that grassy embankment. Very cool, or if you're on the Gateway Clipper.



Promotions rock! Ban the DH! Bring back postgame concerts!

Instead of fireworks, I'd like them to shoot the pierogis into the sky.

I never understood why anyone would want to eat a seat, let alone as many seats as they could.

I'd pay a dollar for a dog, but I prefer the smaller breeds.
